What is the Women’s Fitness Bootcamp?
A
4-week exercise program that is held outdoors and includes specific
fitness instruction, nutritional coaching & motivational training.

Why should I do a camp?
By
being part of this program you will make a tremendous change to your
health both physically and mentally. You will see an increase in energy
and it is a great way to start or end your day, depending on which time
slot you attend. Plus, you can meet other people who are trying to do
the same thing in a fun, supportive environment!
Who attends this Fitness Bootcamp?
Everyday
people just like you. The camp is a way to work with a group of people
and be supportive to each other, to work together to accomplish
physical and cognitive health improvement. People who attend our
Fitness Bootcamp look forward to seeing each other at each class
and working out together. Some basic experience with physical activity
is recommended – if you have never exercised in your life please give
us a call to learn more.
What if I'm not very physically fit?
It
does not matter what level of physical fitness you possess. EVERYBODY
stays together in this program. Everyone will leave feeling challenged,
too! By working together you will help yourself and others improve
physically, and see a tremendous improvement in your overall
well-being.

What happens if I'm sore?
It's
normal to feel sore when you begin a new activity. Soreness is the
body's way of saying it has worked out. Usually within 1-2 days it will
go away, and you will take one step further towards being in better
shape!
Once you are used to exercising regularly, soreness is less in both
length and severity. |
What should I bring to camp?
You
need to bring a single pair of hand weights between 5-10lbs, an
exercise mat (yoga mats are acceptable), weight lifting gloves, and adequate water to
stay hydrated. All of these items may be purchased at your local sports
store or Walmart.
What should I wear for attire?
A
pair of shorts,T-shirt, and new running shoes are appropriate for most
workouts. We recommend dressing in layers, as you will warm up quickly
on these exercises. We do not recommend wearing walking shoes or boots.
Optional items include workout gloves or a towel to dry off.

What is a typical day like at Fitness Bootcamp?
Every
day is a different workout and challenge to prevent boredom – don’t
expect to see the same day twice! You will receive a large dose of
exercise instruction to make sure you are using good form for both
safety and enjoyment. By the time you leave the camp you will know how
to correctly do more than 100 different exercises! Some of the
exercises include core strength, jump rope, bodyweight training,
agility drills, balance, reaction, strength training, running, jumping,
fun obstacle courses, flexibility training, and more!

When do we meet?
Camps
are held outdoors. We meet every Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday
for one hour during the four-week program. You are expected to arrive
on time. The camp is run rain or shine – if there is thunder and
lightning a substitute day will be provided at a later time.
Am I provided nutrition plan advisement?
Healthy
eating guidelines in accordance with the FDA are provided within your
start-up packet. If you follow these guidelines it will help accelerate
your fitness improvements and overall well-being. You do not need to
purchase any special shakes or bars, rather, it simply explains in a
no-nonsense way how to eat better, increase your metabolism, and lose
fat!

What is the refund policy?
There
are no refunds for the Fitness Bootcamp. You are making a commitment to
improve your health and well-being. If you decide to quit part way
through a camp there are no credits issued or partial refunds. If you
cancel before a Fitness Bootcamp begins we can provide you a credit
toward a future date. Credits may not be transferred and there are no
cash refunds - this is not negotiable.

What if I sign up for the three day plan and then want to do more days of the camp?
In
the past there have been many women who realized how much fun the camp
is, and wanted to sign up for the 4th additional day. We can pro-rate
the remaining days and add it to your plan at any point. Plus, the more
involved you are, the bigger and faster your fitness improvements will
be!
